Lei YaXin, a girl from Class Two, Grade Six of HaiZhu Department, won the third prize of "21st century cup" National High School and Primary school English Speaking Competition held in Hangzhou on April 18th and was given the chance to Beijing for a study tour.
"21st century cup" National High School and Primary school English Speaking Competition was organized by China Daily, 21st Century English Newspapers and EduGlobal. It is the China region selection contest of the international English speaking competition.
29 contestants from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hongkong and other regions participated this final round competition. As the No.1 from Shenzhen, Lei Yaxin showed her wonderful English speaking skills and wittily answered the questions of the judges and won applause from all the audiences including teachers and parents. |
